The Conestoga Girls Ice Hockey Club is a school-affiliated club, but not an official school sport operated by the district—so unlike other athletic programs, we rely on volunteer leadership and parent involvement to keep the team running smoothly and sustainably.

Our Board serves as a steward of the program, helping to guide its mission, culture, and long-term growth. Board members work closely with coaches, support recruitment and community awareness, and help ensure the future of the program through thoughtful planning and collaboration.

In addition to supporting basic operations, the Board helps coordinate off-ice programming—like team events, player recognition, and fundraising—that build community and enhance the player experience.

Because parents naturally move on as their players graduate, we have an ongoing need for new families to get involved—not only to keep things running, but to reflect the ideas, energy, and needs of our current team.

Whether you're interested in a Board role or a short-term volunteer task, there’s a place for your time and talents. Even a small commitment can make a big difference—and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
